Us Us / Us Else / Else Us / Else Else is a dance performance for two dancers and one musician where kinesthetic empathy creates a sensory journey that spans from the sublime to the ecstatic.
In an increasingly fragmented, chaotic, and polarized world, Tim Matiakis, Rachel Tess, and Ulrich Ruchlinski explore dance, choreography, and sound as a space for empathic states.
The audience is guided into empathic states through a physical pulse and the variability of sound. The work is in constant flux, where the sense of self dissolves, and artists and audience merge.
