Drone plays with how context and meaning is created through language, dance, music, technology and virtual environments. A sensible dance performance that investigate our ability to move between fiction and reality, between IRL and virtual, between avatar and human.

Erik Linghede is a newly established choreographer whose aesthetics are colored by his background and experimental work with different street dance expressions. “In my work so far, I’ve been interested in playing and challenging the recognizable. I see my work as a state of mind, a kind of existential vacuum where I use and turn around established images, stories and symbols. “

Drone is Erik Linghede’s third work after the debut show Hold that toured Sweden 2015 and Idiom, the opening show of the new stage scene of Kulturhuset Stadsteater in Vällingby in 2016.
