“Sometimes I feel I’m masked by normality. The second skin I put on my body changes how I feel inside. The pants, the shirt and my everyday face camouflages what is really inside.” “Sometimes I feel I’m masked by normality. The second skin I put on my body changes how I feel inside. Gender Fuck(er) is a collaboration between choreographer, film maker and photographer, Graham Adey and choreographer, performer and movement researcher Keren Rosenberg. A dance theatre performance which breaths between a rock concert, a tragedy and a night club. The work looks at heterosexuality with a queer gaze and challenges traditional roles by releasing a male determination within a both vulnerable and powerful female body. The performance was premiered at Dansstationen in the autumn of 2016 and has been shown at Sadler Wells in London and Amsterdam Pride.
